Use Studio assets in a project

Push images, video, and audio from Myndlab Studio straight into a Web App or a Design canvas — no downloading, no re-uploading, no tool switching.

Why ship directly

Once you generate media in Myndlab Studio, that's rarely the end of the journey — you want those assets to show up in an actual product. Instead of downloading each file and manually re-uploading it, Myndlab lets you push assets directly from the library into a Web App or a Design project.

This keeps the work inside one platform: you generate in the Studio, ship to the project, and iterate without ever leaving Myndlab.

Ship to a Web App

To use a Studio asset inside a generated Web App, select the asset from the library and choose the destination project. The asset becomes available to the app, and you can reference it in your next prompt.

1
Select the asset
From the asset library, pick the image, video, or audio clip you want to use in your app.
2
Choose the destination Web App
Choose the project that should receive the asset. It is then added to that app's assets.
3
Reference it in your prompt
Ask the builder to use the asset — for example, “use the uploaded image as the hero section background” — and it will wire it into the generated code.

Use the "Brand Narrator" voice clip from Studio as the
welcome audio on the landing page, and set the neon hero
image as the background of the top section.

Ship to a Design canvas

Studio assets also work inside the Design module. Push an image or video to a Design canvas to place it within your layout, build a frame around it, or use it as a reference element.

1
Open the destination canvas
Go to the Design project you want to add the media to, or create a new canvas.
2
Push the asset from the library
From the asset library, send the asset to the Design canvas; it appears on the canvas ready to position and resize.
3
Compose it into your layout
Arrange the asset alongside the rest of your design elements, apply positioning and scaling, and keep iterating on the canvas as usual.

Supported media types

Everything the Studio generates can be shipped to a project, with slight differences in how each type is used:

1
Images
Used as backgrounds, section heroes, icons, or graphics within both Web Apps and Design canvases.
2
Video
Embedded as a background video, a demo, or a motion element — ideal for attention-grabbing hero sections.
3
Audio & music
Wired in as voiceovers, background music, sound effects, or narration inside a Web App.
Note.Design canvases primarily handle visual media, while Web Apps can play audio and video at runtime.

Keeping assets in sync

When you ship an asset to a project, the project receives its own copy. If you later regenerate the asset in the Studio, it won't automatically update in the project — push the new version deliberately when you're ready to swap it in.

💡
Tip.Keep consistent tags in the library (see the “The asset library” guide) so you can quickly find the right version when you need to push an update.
